This "Poo" cross came into being to combine the delightful nature of the Shih Tzu with the less "punched in face" appearance and the low shedding propensity of the Poodle. The end result has been a cross that makes a wonderful family pet with a minimum of shedding.
The shih-poo is quite easy to train but he will enjoy time spent in obedience classes with his family.
He will adapt to living in just about any environment. With their size they make excellent dogs for apartments. |
