Sporty and devoted the Dachshund makes an excellent family dog. Despite his small size he makes a good watchdog with a surprisingly loud bard. He may be slightly aggressive to strangers. Dachshunds have three types of coats, smooth haired, longhaired and wirehaired, each providing a different level of protection against the weather. The Dachshund dog breed has a pleasant, energetic expression. |
